Special machines

Radial point rivets

This rotary table machine connects contact plates made of copper and stud bolts made of hardened steel using the "radial point rivets" method. Stud bolts and contact plates are supplied as bulk material to the machine, sorted and positioned on the rotary table by pick & place units. Two radial point riveting stations fit the parts together. Subsequently, the height of the riveted parts is checked by a calliper. Depending on the test result, the finished parts are discharged into the OK or not OK boxes.

Caulking machine with freely programmable rotary table

Guide rings for gasturbines are caulked with an NC-controlled freely positionable pneumatic tool. The infeed of the NC-rotary table which is also freely programmable happens automatically from one vane to the next. An unequal division has to be considered. The caulking procedure is being watched by a miniature camera and controlled visually.
